We’re flying from Dublin on the 6.30 air lingus the morning of the cruise. We booked the flight through RC & will be picked up by coach & transfered to the ship also booked through RC. If there are any delays it’s RC’s problem to deal with & get us to the ship as we have booked through them. The last time we went on a cruise from Barcelona & we flew in from Dublin the day before but there were hundreds of passengers getting on cruise ships that day.

You don't really have many options for decent price, duration and arrival time. Aer Lingus has a nonstop, that could work. it arrives @1025, with luggage and shuttle or taxi to port would put you at the port by roughly 1. However, I don't see a good fallback should it be delayed. More options to fly in day before in afternoon and evening.

Would never fly in the same day. Even more so now when flights are being cancelled.

That is cutting it close. We may go through Dublin, but will go at least a day or two early.

We booked it through celebrity, as first time cruisers we thought we would leave it to the experts, and then it is their responsibility to get us there. However, we are trying to get our outbound flight changes as they have booked us a two stop flight Dublin to Frankfurt to Rome…….. and the connecting flight would have been missed on 5 occasions in the last two weeks. ……we are now living on our nerves 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

We always fly from Dublin the day of the cruise. We always book fly/cruise. So if there's any delays, it's up to the cruise company to sort it out. We came back from a cruise in May of this year and our sail away party never happened because flights were late coming in but still the ship could not leave until everyone was checked in and on board. That's the great thing about booking fly/cruise!
