Santorini is beautiful but it can’t handle the traffic of cruises! Cable car line is extremely long. We got donkey up €10 euro each and cable car down €6 each.

Breathtakingly beautiful. Very busy but the town of oia is a must see.cable car was fun and the wait wasn't too long.will come back here for a longer visit next time.

The old port is intense. For 6 euro you can take a cable car or ride a donkey. The line at the end of the day to get on the cable car was a good hour and a half long by 3 pm. Make sure you get in line early. Walking down the stairs is dangerous the staircase is narrow at points and you will share it with donkeys and mules. Oía is busy and full of tourists. Try to get there early for a bit more room to breath. You cannot take a bad picture here.

Santorini was magical!!! We tendered and unfortunately took a long time to get off the ship. We took a speed boat from Fira to Oia, and later a bus ride back to Fira. Beautiful sunset! We walked down the donkey trail.. our shoes needed lot of scrubbing.. LOL

Favorite port. Went on the excursion - Island of Santorini and Village of Oia. This was our best excursion, but we could have spent more time in Oia. It was just beautiful there.

Outstanding scenery and houses on the side of the mountain, down to the beach. took many pictures which equaled the scenes in the movies showing Oia. ***Be prepared for the shuttle boats, as the ship was anchored off. Exasperating later to learn of having to deal with a shuttle boat while managing our three grandchildren. However, prior to the trip, when i called NCL, I was flatly told NO anchorages??? Don't understand why NCL rep did not know this???
