We visited the ancient ruins of Akrotiri. Again this was a fascinating site to visit. We then were taken to Mt. Prophet Elijah. From there are magnificent views. We were then taken to Fira to explore this town. There are numerous shops and cafes to visit. Unfortunately the power went out for a few hours while we were there and we had a long wait until the cable car was returned to service.

Excursions got canceled for no reason. But it was still a beautiful place

all was fine but the line to get down the cable car was so long we had to walk which was arduous!

According to the Captain, we could not port in the new port due to weather. So we missed our excursion to Oiu, which we were truly excited about. In addtion there were exceptionally long lines for the lift from the old port to the nearest town.

Consider a ship sponsored excursion on this tender port. However, with the description, we were expecting to need to take the cable car but the bus brought us back to the new Harbor.

Beautiful place

HIGHLIGHT of our trip! One of the reasons we booked this itinerary. Santorini was VERY crowded, but we booked a third-party private tour guide to take us around.

Our excursion was cancelled due to our captain parking at a different port than where our buses were.

The lines to catch the lift too and from the island was very long. Which took away for the experience of the port.

My 80 year old mother got food poisoning on her last cruise and after lying on the floor for hours managed to call 911and was administered IV's after being rushed to infirmary. She wrote letters and try calling them after cruise and too date has heard nothing back from them at all....ever.
