Go to the distillery tour, it was so much fun. The town is small and lots of people in a small area, food was great and went to the beach in the afternoon and had a great time.

The city is beautiful, especially when you get away from the crowds. We had a beautiful dinner overlooking the sea. I believe it would be a better place to visit independent of a cruise as it is a lot of people (4 cruise ships that came in at the same day as us) to squeeze into this small paradise. It can't be helped, but the ability to get to the city from the ship is quite a time consuming process. We did not get up early to get our tender tickets so we had to wait onboard for 3 hours for our tender after the ship was cleared for tendering then another 2 hours in line for a gondola to get up to the city. We missed the famous sunset views as we wanted to get a head start on the gondola lines to avoid another 2 to 3 hour wait. The sunset was beautiful from the ship however.

Yes, it is very pretty (although not as pretty as I was expecting based on pictures I'd seen, but the crowds just ruined it for me. Had an hour wait each way for the cable car up from and down to the pier.

Beautiful place to visit. Felt rushed by tour and not enough time to experience Santorini. The cable car back to ship was a nightmare. Too crowded and waited over an hour to get.

They need to schedule how many ships in port. Two hour lines to get on tram for transport back to tenders in the heat & sun is too much. No consideration for the elderly &/or handicapped.

beautiful but overcrowded on a lightish cruise ship day. Return to ship was horrible.....1 1/2 hour wait/standing for the cable car
