Tender beware... We LOVED Santorini, but since I booked our own guide service for the day we were penalized by Oceania shore excursion which all got to go first. We were over an hour late for our tour because we booked an excursion on our own. Destination services is terribly unorganized and could do a better job at communicating.

It was overly busy overly hot overly priced and whatever you do ….do not walk down the steps from the top unless you are fully capable and fit it was very slippy and extremely a long way. Upsetting to see poor donkeys in the heat they were very sad looking . Such a shame 😢

I hate tendering!

Great port for pictures.

Always a gem. We did the black beach by taxi, very nice and clean. Did some shopping. Should have longer port time due to other ships leaving at same times so the cable car is so croweded.

did do an excursion. It was a hassle trying to find our guide for our excursion. All tours not purchased from RC were located outside the port. I did not like the fact RC staff was turned their nose on shore excursions purchased through my airline. Priority debarkment was given only to excursions purchased through RC.

Started with a beach 1\2 day . Spent 2 1/2 hours in a line for a cable car ride to take tender back to ship. Onboard we visited the ships service desk to report our complaint and No resolve or empathy from staff.

Beautiful, wish we could have explored more.

Beautiful cliff side villages of whitewashed houses. Very crowded main tourist streets.
