We went in July of 2019 before Covid. It was very hot. Santorini I is a giant rock. Everything is imported. No trees for shade. Don't go during the summer.

Sun Princess is dropping this port. Too small and poor access for this size ship. I love this port so happy to have been able to see it.

Main city was too touristy, we were lucky not to wait too long for the cable car going down to the ship - later in the day it was a nightmare.

Absolutely beautiful, but cut throat to get to the good picture spots. We had a private tour of the island and our guide was excellent.

There were a lot of people in this port the same day we were there...and it takes forever to take the cable car back down! The walk down the donkey trail wasn't as bad as we anticipated, but it can be slippery if you have flip flops!

We loved the port but there 7 ships in port on this day. The locals are trying to limit the number of ships each day which would make a much better experience all. Tenders are required. On Explorer of the Seas it took 4 hours to get everyone on a tender. The name of the game is go early & return early.

tour was fine but cable cars quit running due to high winds and had to walk down the 6oo+ steps, Princess had no backup plan when cable cars could not run and many people got hurt walking down steps including me
