Impossible to get to the top. We visited the shops at the dock but did not venture up to the City. Long lines, frustated guests from multiple ships.

Couldn't get a tender to shore until 3:30pm! There was some wind that caused delays in the tenders, plus NCL gave preference to Haven customers and customers with NCL-arranged excursions. The port for tender boats is tiny so the 5 cruise ships that were there were competing for just a couple of spots to drop off passengers. Once on shore, the crowds for the cable car were ridiculously long. We started a 6-hour 3pm tour at 5pm. We planned to return for the last tender at 9pm, but since the crowds were so bad, we had to return at 7:30 to join the queue for the cable car back down. Even though we started in that queue at 7:30pm, we were on the LAST tender at 9pm....that's how long it took the get back down to the port.a 6-hour excursion ended up being 2.5 hours, mostly battling crowds and stairs. Nothing like the instagram pics. My recommendation would be to skip this port of call. If you want to see Santorini, fly in and stay overnight. It is apparently much calmer after cruise passengers have left.

We booked a tour of island through this travel agency and it was exceptional. The tour guide picked us up at the cable car early and gave us the perfect tour of the island in four to four and one half hours. She was the best tour guide we had anywhere.

Santorini was beautiful and our guide was exceptional but again I thought that they brought us into shopping areas too much.

The ports on the Greek isles are so small, they can't handle multiple cruise ships at once. Passengers are shuttled from the ship to the portside in waves and it takes forever. The Princess crew did not plan the logistics of this well. We almost missed our excursion

We paid for priority disembarkation, so we were able to make a full day of this beautiful port. We walked down the steps at sunset with hundreds of our friends, lol. Was a great experience overall.

The number of ships should be limited. Lines were 2 hours long to take the tram to the top. There are 600 stair that can be used except that you must share with donkeys and the excrement. We chose to do neither and just walked around where the tender dropped us off. I'm sure it's lovely though.

Unfortunately five ships were in. Nightmare queue for the cable car. But you have to get up to the top to see what all the fuss is about.
