Went on a boat ride, had an opportunity to swim, had lunch on board the ship and then had time to roam the island.

Took time getting to the island, had wonderful food and took great photos

cable car down line was very long

Did not care greatly for excursion to Oai. Would have preferred to spend all my time ashore in Theria.

Need more time at this port. Especially if arriving in the afternoon. Last time I was in Santorini, I had tendered in about 10:30 am and we did not leave until 9 pm. Left lots of time to visit both Oia and Santorini. By the time we got to Oia and back, there was little time to do anything else as shops were closing. And the lines to get on the cable car were very long. Nothing Norwegian can do about that but add maybe another hour to offset the times to get from bottom to top and back again.

Amazing place. Looks exactly as any picture you have ever seen. We did an expensive excursion, Ultimate Santorini, and it just was not worth the money. Small vans that were cramped and speakers not working, couldn't see out of the windows. The supplied lunch was just a dry piece of roasted chicken, no drinks.

Santorini was one of my favorite ports despite the extra long line to get on the Cable Car. I almost started to do the walk up the hill, but 10 steps in and I turned around - I do NOT recommend trying to take the steps unless you're in great shape, extra hydrated and don't mind the overwhelming smell of donkey excrement.
