Take great walking shoes

most excursions are too long. It would be nice to more short, med, long tours vs just med or long. our excursion was about 2 hours too long - it would have been great to have a 2-hour max excursion.

Good free time tour of Santorini

We booked an excursion with Shore Excursion Group. The tour guide met us at the tender port. The tour took us to Oia, the quintessential site of Santorini. Note, the line for the cable car to reach the main port town of Thira from the tender port can be quite long. It took us about 40 mins to get on the cable car.

Tender process and process to get up and down on bucket lift were awful. Long lines, especially when returning at end of day. Should have picked excursion that was water-based and skipped line on bucket lift.

This was a horrible experience. Didn't know to sign up asap for tendering, only had 3 hrs in port. Cable car line was wrapped around the dock area, decided to take a donkey - DON'T DO IT! Cruel and uncomfortable. Wish the cruise warned against this.

Santorini is just beautiful. Way to many people but beautiful anyway. Find a bar with a view normally at the end of the tourist run and have a beer and absorb the view..

This port was nice from what I saw. Unfortunately, I had to cut it 4 hours short as well as my excursion due to having to get tested to re-enter the USA. We recommend to NCL that as long as this is in effect to push the testing to later so people could finish the excursions.

Good until I slipped and hurt my foot near the shops.
