I LOVED everything about Santorini - but it's the views you go for ! The blue domed buildings against the white architecture is stunning. Stop at the top for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine ( Santorini is known for their crisp white wines)

Too many ships docked at the same time and terrible delays for tendering. Lift and donkeys were a 2+ hour wait. We ended up walking the stairs and nearly died from heat exhaustion.

There were 2 other ships anchored in the bay at Santorini, thus resulting in around 10.000 cruise guest and staff wanting to get off at this island. The island is by no means suited for these numbers as most guests have to either take the cable car or ride a donkey to get up to the main town. The result is hour long queues in the blazing sun only to get to a town that is completely overwhelmed.

Loved the spot and excursion

We did an excursion with Shore Excursions Group - an overview of Fira, Oia and a winery tour. Absolutely loved it - would highly recommend it to anyone and would highly recommend Santorini to anyone.

Went to the ruins at Akritiri and it was stunning, also included a wine tasting.

Good shops, good restaurants. Long cable car lines going up and down.

Beautiful. Lots of steps

Fira is too crowded & touristy. The streets of Oia are narrow & crowded. The traffic in Fira NYC-heavy. Interestingly, the best meal of my trip was in Oia. This was definitely a place I could have skipped.
