Check the cable car line for getting back down the mountain though.  It sometimes is a couple of hours long.  Don’t over estimate how much time you might have to eat and shop.

The tour will drop you in Fira, which is the town directly above the tender boats and cables cars and donkey path.  You can shop or eat in Fira.

Yes, it normally drops you in the town of Fira where you can shop or wander around for a while however, you must bear in mind the time you will need to get back to your ship.
