Kotor, Montenegro Port Reviews

We had a good time in this port. They took us to Budva. We stopped for a snack, Montenegran prosciutto, cheese, bread, and a drink. Then we had a wonderful lunch in the old town. We could have used a little more free time, but we were able to get what we want to do done.

Did a ship tour since it was a very short port, Bay of Saints. Tour guide was amazing, learned some history, her commentary kept you interested, and was informative. Boat portion of the tour did not seem crowded, pleanty of space. The tour stoped at a local restaurant for a slice of cake and coffee that was delightful. As usual, overpriced, but a very good tour in our opinion.

On our own, walked in town.

Nothing against Kotor but between terrible organization of the tendering situation which left us with maybe 2 hours while accounting for time getting back on the ship and some rude restaurant workers that clearly ignored us, it was just not the greatest time. We walked away from that restaurant and found another that was much more pleasant with good food but with a bitter taste from the earlier experience.

A most wonderful place. Would come back again & again.

Required to take a tender ashore which slows things down and crowded

Gorgeous! Wish we could have stayed longer. Great excursion, sailing into and out of port memorable.

We booked our own excursion. Amazing area.

We did a boat excursion to the blue cave and it was gorgeous. Great boat captain. So beautiful everywhere we looked.

Magnificent! Did the catamaran excursion and it was wonderful and breathtaking. George and his crew were great!
