Loved this little port again didn’t do an excursion just walked around the little shops and sat by the water but it was a beautiful day and one of our favourites.

This was a quaint port town. Wish we would have taken the excursion to the Temple of Zeus...I heard it was good. We did take a little train that took us only a few blocks out to the other side of the island for a look at the sea from there...nothing too great.

Seeing Olympia was worth doing. We booked online with Eco-Travel for 10 Euros each round trip. You don't get a guide just the transportation to and from with 2 hours to wander through the site. When you return from the Olympia site there are lots of little restaurants along the ocean front with great prices on a bottle of beer! Also, on Main Street there are a lot of shops with lots to buy!

Had a 1/2 day here which is enough, a small little village, shopped and had a real Greek lunch with fun Greek dancing. Made our own fun, finally did not go on an excursion.

When existing the ship in port, if you are not going to the ruins of Olympia, turn to the right and if you looking for nice tavernas for a cool drink, take the back street on the right which runs parallel to the main street. Along here you will find many bars to choose from

The tours were to big. It was extremely hard to hear our tour guide. She was nice but with so many tours going on in this area from many ships the sizes of the tours should have been smaller. I can't imagine what it is like during the season.

We chose to take a tour excursion and we were glad we did. There is nothing at the port other than a few shops. The site to see is Olympia, where they have excavated much of the old area.
