The walking tour was adequate

Raining on this day which impacted our excursions fairly significantly

This city must be seen. It is magical.

We took the "Bosphorus boat cruise" through Shore Excursions Group. It was the Breakfast cruise and WOW was it magnificent. The food and fun was fabulous and the excursion was pretty cheap. Then we walked to Istanbul market. I couldn't walk the 1 mile required, so my husband and I split up and I sat by the fountain and people watched for 2 hours. It was wonderful and relaxing. The 'Market' is an indoor mall, which was not what we expected and the Blue Mosque is NOT WORTH Visiting at all. It is under full renovation and we got a huge history lesson in the religion.

few time to stay, from 12:30pm to 5pm, and even if the return to the port was notified to us that was 5pm, the cruise leave at 9pm, which was very dissapointed

Took an excursion for the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazar. Although the ship did tell us the Blue Mosque was being renovated, I didn't realize there would be nothing to see. The entire mosque was draped in drop cloth. I wish this excursion had been cancelled or at least changed to not include the Blue Mosque.

City is unbelievable. Gigantic and bursting with history. Had a private guide for the day that took us to many of the most famous sites. Grand Bazaar is neat but overwhelming.

Didn't get to see Istanbul because of a marathon and all excursions and many street we cancelled/blocked off
