Old San Juan is gorgeous. Architecture is something to see. Loved just walking around the city and soaking it in.

We did a bus tour of Old San Juan & San Jaun. I liked this city so much better than I thought it would. It is extremely clean. We ended up at the beach. I forget the name but it was behind a Marriott. It was beautiful.

Pre-cruise stay in Old San Juan at the hotel El Convento. Toured the forts and walked around. Ate at Waffle -era for breakfast one morning and Cafe Caldera the next. We ate at the hotel restaurant first night and picked a restaurant with outdoor seating randomly the second night. Good food all around. The people here are very friendly. I would definitely come back.

Visited on 4/12/18... Old San Juan was in great shape all things considered. Having visited prior to the hurricanes we didn't notice much difference. We didn't leave Old San Juan so I can speak about other parts of the island which I'm sure is still struggling. Tourism is crucial so help out if you can.

Even with the damage from the Hurricanes, the locals were lovely and the town beautiful. We walked to the two forts then around town. We spent a lot of time walking the Oceanside Cemetery ... BEAUTIFUL! Not too far from the ship, we found a cute little side street with bars and cafes. We were told of the high crime rate but never felt uncomfortable being around the locals.

Didn’t book a tour but at the port was approached by a tour company, 20.00 pp 2 hour tour with 4 stops. Antonio was very informative and just seemed to be a nice down to earth guy. It was on a air conditioned small bus and at each stop we had around 15 min for pictures taking. After returning to the center of town for shopping and food we ended up at a great lil restaurant, wish I could remember the name but either way they had plenty of restaurants to choose from. San Juan is just a beautiful city full of history
