San Juan, Puerto Rico Port Q&A

If it is a port, they dock at the cruise terminal that is in Old San Juan. There are dozens of shops and restaurants within walking distance. They use the Pan American pier for cruises that start or end in San Juan which has nothing nearby.

If you are there for the day as a port you will be in Old San Juan, tons to see and do. PanAmerican Pier is for cruises starting or ending in San Juan mostly, well for RC, Celebrity and Princess. I don’t know about NCL, and I believe Carnival built there own in Old San Juan

well almost nothing in the Panamerican Pier they only got the Convection Center and TMobile District that is a entertainment center but not like Old San Juan that have everything really nearby
