The island has a good amount of shade

Loved Castaway Cay. The beach is so pristine and the lunch served was delicious. It was windy so paddle boarding was cancelled.

This was by far my favorite. I could have used 2 days there. We did the extreme and didn’t have enough to for it all. But having one day for relaxation and one day for the extreme would be nice. Love this island.

The island was amazing. We had a great time.

Water was warm and the environment was safe. We area near the obstacle courses had crushed shells near the beach so without water shoes it was discomforting entering the water. We enjoyed Pelican Pointe with the water slide and just relaxing at the beach. That was a much better experience. We did the bike rentals as a family. I was pleasantly surprise to find bikes with training wheels. We did the Castaway 5k but didn't receive any medals. I must have missed something there. We also waited for the Basketball Free Throw tournament that never happened as we couldn't locate a Crew Member who was suppose to run it. Disappointed in the answer I got from the bar attendee nearest the In Da Shade Game area because he chose not to call a Crew Member for me and had me walk to a further area by Pelican Pointe where inner tubes were rented to get a Crew Member.

There is one reason why Castaway received 4/5. The ship was scheduled to arrive at 10AM, and we did, but that did not account for the 30-45 minutes it takes to unload all the staff, food, etc. We had booked a banana boat ride for 10AM and expected they would still allow us to ride as it wasn’t our fault we couldn’t show up at 10AM. We got to check in around 10:55 and the lady was very rude, said they are all booked and we should have been there at 10 but because our ship was late they couldn’t accommodate us even though we had booked the excursion. We then attempted parasailing which was not surprisingly cancelled, and then we swam with the stingrays which was awesome.
