Very beautiful port, vendors are pushy. I don't ever complain about pushy sellers but the aggression needed to be taken down a few notches. Even after kindly declining interest...you were heckled. But other than that...the turquoise water and colorful sea life was a wonderful experience! We took a tour of the New Providence Island which was very Intresting and informative on the history and culture. Also did a deep sea fishing excursion which was very expensive but fishing was great!

Tourist areas and beaches were nice and clean. Water was too cold for me in March, but weather was tropical and wonderful. If you venture outside of tourist area, it gets a little rough. Ok, a lot rough. I went to a beach across the island (public) by taxi, and wish I would have stayed around the port at the nicer beaches. I suggest paying for a pass to use the hotel facilities and beaches.

I didn't care much for Nassau Bahamas. I thought is was very expressive and to much of a tourist trap. I did however like the smaller island's, less crowded and slower pace.

4 of us got a cab for $20 each for 2 hours to take you around Nassau. We did the chocolate factory tour for $10 (about 10 minutes long) then to John Watlings Rum factory (free tour drinks are $8 each) and had The best Pina Coladas! So smooth! The queens steps, rum cake tasting and ended at the beach. Also taxi said don’t say at Atlantis. Stay at comfort suites-has all the same amenities for 1/3 the price!

This was our families first cruise. We stopped in Key West first. Which was good. We did some shopping. Freeport was ok nothing major. We got some food and saw the local little shopping area. In Nassau we had a blast shopping, parasailing, swimming with dolphins day at the beach. Over all we all loved the trip and everyone enjoyed it.

Much fun on the Carnival Pride. Great Comedy shows, games, casino giveaways, and food. Very friendly staff and a great cabin. Easy getting around, very clear programs.

Honest review we are not huge fans of Nassau but I believe everyone should go and give it a chance! The locals can be pushy but they are just trying to make money! If you don't see something you want it's simple don't stop keeping moving they won't bother you. We did the aqua adventure at Atlantis this time it was fun! It was fun to do once and maybe if we had kids we would do again but for the price it is a bit much to do again.

My SIL and I visited and had no idea what to expect. We got off the ship and hopped in a taxi. Scariest ride of our lives! We went to Paradise Island and hung out on the quiet peaceful beach. We bought coconut drinks for unlimited drinks all day and it was awesome. The water is beautiful Nassau itself was ok. The straw market isn't my cuppa tea. Easy to get lost and roped into something there. Our next visit we plan on going to Junkanoo beach.

Princess Cays - was nice. The buffet lunch was below average. It's stormed from 12:30 to about 1:30, luckily we rented a Cabana. I recommend getting a Cabana in case the weather is stormy or way to hot for your liking. Each Cabana comes with fruit, veggies, water, and soda.
