Its a tourist attraction, but you can find lots of different things to do, or just go to town, the pool, or zip line and dont forget shopping.

This port is absolutely gorgeous to look at. There is zip lining for 20 bucks all day and a pool.

Carnival has a really nice waterpark that we used. Free.

I did a 5 hr city tour which involved walking, a rum factory tour which included a nice lunch

We made the decision that we wanted to see local life and we got it. We were able to see where several celebrities live as well as the differences between the social classes (WOW). We were also able to do some local shopping.

Did the rainforest waterfall excursion, was excellent, the best of our trip. Dominican Republic was beautiful.

It was lovely and the sights were beautiful. We did not book an excursion but it was easy to get a cap to a local beach. The walk from the boat dock to the island was so long they had bike wagons free to take you back and forth, tipping was optional. We toured the island, did a little shopping and took a nap on the beach.

Went on a snorkeling and catamaran adventure that we booked through carnival. I didn’t snorkel but everyone else in our group loved it. Picnic lunch on the boat was simple but very good. Sailing for 2 hours back to the Glory was amazing!
