Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic Port Q&A

There is a small beach that can be seen right where you are docked at. Although it looks like it would be a 2 minute walk there is no direct path to it from the ship. It actually takes roughly 20-30 minutes to walk there from the ship. Obviously depending how fast you walk. There are a couple little shops as you walk in and people who work based off tips to get you chairs and drinks. We had a good time at this little beach but just be aware like I said it is a longer walk than you think. I’m sure you could catch a cab there as well.

Playa Dorado is nice. Palapa rental, bar service and shops. Big beach. Cab ride.

You don’t need the beach in Amber cove it’s a whole pool party in port that is amazing
