This is an amazing and free beach! We loved the free beach chairs, the clean and long stretch of beach and natural shade from the palm trees. Really a great cruise port! Try Daniel Johnson's Monkey and Sloth hangout to hold monkeys, parrots and sloths!

This was probably the best stop of the 3 that we had it has a very nice beach that you can walk to from the ship and best part it's free and there is more then enough chairs to go around for everyone and the food at fat Tuesday was awesome me and the wife want to go back soon

My family and I paid a taxi driver (can't remember his name) to take us on a tour. We wanted to go to places that the locals hung out, but wanted to be safe. He took us to the tourist areas, then took us to the local's shopping area as well as a restaurant that his family owns. The food there was awesome. His family treated us just like family.

One of my absolute favorite ports! It is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing is the long trek to and from the boat. This is the only place in the world where it is literally uphill both ways. I assume this is the route my parents took to school.

enjoyed just hanging on the beach. just so relaxing and green. loved it. we watched a local man cut a coconut with a machete and placed a straw in it for us to drink the water from it. was so good. then we paid for a massage. was very peaceful. cant wait to go back

We went to Mahogany bay beach. The beach was clean, the snorkeling was fantastic, and the staff could not of been better. They are friendly and very accommodating and the definitely want to make sure that you are having a good time. This beach is right off of the cruise port and you can either walk to it or take a chairlift.

Don't even need to leave the port area! Chair lift to the beach is cool to see the view from a different perspective. The beach and shopping at the port is amazing and convienent. Didn't have a crowded feel at all.

We visited Mahogany Bay on August 16th, and I have to say it is now one of my favorite island destinations! The island is so beautiful! When you get off the ship there is plenty to do right at the port area, including shopping and restaurants. You can also walk over, or take the chair lift for a minimal cost, to their free beach which is great. We visited Little French Key for the day, and it’s probably the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We spent time snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, relaxing on the beach and visiting the animals. The food and drinks we had were really great too. Sadly, they became the victim of arson a week after we returned home. I believe they are still operational but are having to rebuild a lot of structures and make new shelters for the rescued animals who live there. If you are able, they are taking donations to help rebuild! Mahogany Bay and Little French Key will have a special place in my heart from now on. I only wish we were able to stay there a little longer.

This was my 3rd time to Mahogany Bay, but the first time to just stay at the port and use the beach. We were the only ship in port, so the beach was never crowded, with maybe 15% of the loungers ever occupied at one time. The weather was perfect and I had a great lunch of jerk chicken, rice & beans and plantains for only $ 9.00.
