nothing to add that others have already said (private island area is nice but expensive and inconvenient and not included in your package, etc., the rest of the island is poor with bad bumpy roads and surprisingly unattractive, and the mainland is too far away) all of which is true so I can only share my experience on this cruise we did the Herb Farm tour excursion which was lovely and memorable at the place we wish we had known the hour long bus trip there and the hour long bus trip back would be hot and bumpy and muddy and uncomfortable and basically a school bus N and possibly dangerous with slipping and sliding etc avoid excursions away from port beach during rainy season if you ride on a bus the back is the bounciest so sit as close to front as possible

Although the beach and pool were wonderful, it is not fair of NCL to not allow cruisers to charge drinks and food to their room key as it's an NCL island..not fair NCL..you need to evaluate this!

This experience could have been better if Norwegian figured out a way to use your room key just like on the ship. It's their island. You should not have to carry cash or a different credit card.

Went to Nim Li Ruins. Interesting history. Lunch too was very good in a beautiful wooden bldg that is used for events.

Harvest Caye was our favorite port! Easy walk to a beautiful area with a great beach, huge pool area with swim up bar, cute shops to buy souvenirs. Girls went ziplining and loved it. They said the folks who ran it were so nice!

Jump in a cab... cab drivers can give you the best info on what beaches are good in the area...loved it. Fyi- security coming back onto port carry machine guns...lol

Very expensive and not much to do. The "animal zoo" was probably the highlight of our day. Got off the boat at 10 and was back on at 1. Kiddie pool was closed most of the time and there were no alternatives.

Fun place. Nice and clean and safe, but not much of a local experience.

Harvest caye was beautiful but expensive. Great pool but 23.00 for a beer and a drink was crazy. I knew before hand it would be. The sand was rough so we did not go to the beach.
