Harvest Caye, Belize Port Reviews

If you ever get to go to Belize City you would appreciate Harvest Caye Island....I feel safe and it has the perfect tropical Island vibe......not to mention the beautiful pool and beach area for fun in the sun all day long!

Gorgeous island!! We booked an excursion to Goff’s Caye & Snorkeling through ShoreExcursioneer. I’m torn on this excursion. If I had a do-over I’d prefer to stay at port, have some food & drinks, & socialize with other cruisers & locals. Or try another excursion. 1st we take a tender boat for a 15 Minute ride to the port. Then another boat to Goff’s Caye for a 45 Minute ride. We got about 10-15 minutes to prepare to go snorkeling or u could choose to stay on island (I would have enjoyed staying on island versus the snorkeling). We took a 2 Minute ride to snorkel which ended in seeing VERY little sea life.....more like coral/plant life. Snorkeling in Cozumel is 100% better. Then we rode back to island & enjoyed some good lobster for $12. Very good! After time to relax & take some pics we rode back to port for 45 minutes. Then another 15 minutes on tender boat back to ship. Just too much boat riding for my liking. However, if u don’t mind the boat rides Goff’s Caye is absolutely beautiful. I just would not do the snorkeling. To me, it was a waste of my day. I wish I’d have had more time to just enjoy the water & locals.

At Harvest Caye, I definitely would recommend that you get off the ship and enjoy NCL's private island. It has a big pool that you can enjoy. You just have to find a spot with the umbrella because it's hot and you want to relax after. It was first come per serve basis so we were lucky when we found someone leaving their spot earlier.

Beautiful pool, nice beach. Not a lot for us to do there. Kids enjoyed the pool. It wasted crowded because it’s huge. :) They have zip lining and ropes course for an additional charge. We spent a half day there, then enjoyed an empty pool on the the ship in the afternoon.

This I'd a nice island beach stop but be expected to pay top dollar for everything. The drinks were good at the swim up bar and the pool is amazing. Also has lots to walk around and look at from animals to plants to shopping.

Great new facility with lounges and beach. Zip line available at $89. Food and shops are outside sources, not NCL. Ship docked...no tender.

Good for those looking for a beach day and to sit in the sun. Be sure to bring sunscreen as I saw a lot of individuals come back a little burnt from the Belizean sun.

It was beautiful & the pool was nice and there are plenty of lounge chairs.

Great private island. Nice pool and beach. We went kayaking in the inner lagoon. It was a shorter course than I expected. Food was expensive but just eat back on the ship.

To short of a time there. A whole day be better to spend so everything can be enjoyed. Beautiful place.
