Beautiful island I really enjoyed my time there. My wife and I had one of the best times of our lives here. I think I’m going to have to take more cruises during the winter season. The weather was so perfect, cool breeze in the morning by noon it was just warm enough to enjoy.

Just like the Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian's private island is immaculate! The lounge chairs on the beach were plentiful and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was warm, refreshing and gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring the island. Our three young adult boys were thrilled that Norwegian had just opened the zip lines the day we arrived after months of maintenance, further indication of Norwegian's commitment to the safety of their customers and the quality of their experience.

Nice private island. Just very crowded. The beach was nice but I am not a fan of swimming with seaweed so I preferred the pool. We didn’t purchase anything on the island since we have unlimited everything back on the ship. It serves its purpose

Harves Caye is beautiful. The water was beautiful. It was a very hot and sunny day, and really they could use some more beach umbrellas. There were many, many empty beach chairs, but they wer all in the sun. We sat for a little while under an umbrella, but then it ended up becoming too sunny and we did not want to be burned to a crisp. The pool was really, really big and quite nice. Same problem: Not enough shaded chairs for everyone. We only stayed for about 2 hours and headed back to the ship where the food & drink was already paid for.

In Harvest Caye I booked a Spice Farm and Mayan Ruin excursion. We had to take a ferry to the mainland and that takes about a half hour. Then another 45 minute bus ride to the spice farm where you take a tractor ride through all the different spices and plants they grow there. Then you spend a little time in the shop where you can purchase spices or food. We then take the bus ride to the Ruins and portions of the ride should not be for busses but ATVs but we made it. We took an hour tour of the Nim Li Punit Ruins which are still being discovered and we got to speak to one of the archeologists there. I would recommend this excursion if you are looking for a tour that explores Belize as you do a lot of driving and hear some history and there is not a ton of walking.

You get off the ship and it's a long walk to this NCL Man-made island off the coast of Belize. It provides an opportunity to swim in a decent size pool or zip line from the light house; paddle boats and other water sports are available as are lots of shops and eateries. The "nature center" actually takes 5 minutes, has a butterfly house and a few birds. We did not do an excursion. Again, I should have gone diving.

Really left a lot to be desired. The cruise ship has you captive. You have to pay the locals to eat or drink. Seaweed also an issue at this port. Unlike Labadee or Half Moon Cay, where they take you off the ship and pamper you at a beach, this was just a joke. The pool was nice, but who wants to spend the day paying for expensive drinks and food at a place that has no culture or connection to the country.

Pros: A way for me to say I've been to Belize. Cons: Everything else. Overpriced company island with muddy seawater & coarse sand at the beach, no culture, not enough fun at the pool. We were back on the boat in 2 hours, made it a sea day.
