Loved the excursion but wanted to go to Belize and not the island owned by the cruise line.

Very expensive! Your drink package can not be used here so bring cash! We ended up having to tender to island. The trip over was on a catamaran, but the trip back was in a dingy and it was miserable! 200 plus people in an enclosed area with no air! One lady almost passed out! NCL needs new options for this.

Getaway March 5-12. I was told by frequent travelers and ppl who own property on Belize that this particular ship has missed this port 7 times. Guess they built an island with out considering the size of their large ships. We were told it was too windy however that side of the island has those trade winds constantly. Too bad. I was looking forward to seeing it

Beautiful beach, but the sand was full of shell shards, so wear water shoes! Ocean was great, but the pool was crowded. Could use more umbrellas at the beach area.

We had purchased one of the private cabanas and it is unbelievablely amazing. You have a shuttle that takes you to and from the enterance to the cabana, free WIFI, four cushioned lounge chairs on the deck of the cabana, one hammock, four cushioned lounge chairs on the private beach, AC, comfortable couches, mini fridge, Bluetooth speaker, full bathroom, and cabana servers. Food and drinks are not included in any package deals though. The shops and wild life experience was okay.

We were impressed with the beach and the quality of this stop. Of the private islands we have been to, this definitely had the nicest beach. The beach was very clean, wide, and the water was beautiful. The one drawback was that NCL does not provide lunch on the island. You have to come back to the boat for a complimentary lunch (many people did). There was a very nice Landshark Bar and Grill in the middle of the island, but you had to pay extra for your burgers and nachos. In fact, you cannot use your cruise card account on the island - bring a credit card.

Prices were high in shops. Although the resort style pool was beautiful, everything felt very fake and generic. You felt like you could have been at a resort in the US, instead of experiencing Belize.

Boring. Boring to a fault. Too expensive to venture out on you own and you're stuck on their private island.

Long walks to center of area from dock. The staff there were very friendly although EVERYONE constantly asks for tips and you are reminded a LOT. The Mayan Temple and Spice Farm were very good. Felix and Shana were great guides! It was nice to talk to Felix and get more details of the culture and history of Belize.
