Well worth getting off the ship to explore. Grab a taxi, $8, ask for Mr. Perfect and the man will take care of you. He went out of his way to help our large family reach the Turtles and Dolphins. We even got a discount, ended up paying $11. We took the public transportation Vans back to port $2 a person. The drivers were both responsible and kind. Beautiful island and friendly people.

The highlight of all ports, our absolute favorite. The best beaches anywhere, people were very friendly and helpful. We ate and drank locally, would visit again. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in Grand Cayman. My husband and only planned to shop. Once we got into the shopping area we were asked if we wanted to take a tour for $20. It included the rum store (samples of rum cake), the conch house, governors mansion, 7 mike beach, Dolphins Cove and Hell. Our guide also volunteered to take us to the beach and pick us back up. My husband and I declined only because we aren’t beach people. Others did take him up on the offer. It’s Papi’s tours and our guide was Papi. He was EXCELLENT!! He was so knowledgeable and very personable!

We did the shuttle service (van) to Seven Mike Beach. Was about 15 minute drive....$5 per person one way. Once at the beach you can rent chair for $5. Has great little bar restaurant right by called Calico Jacks. You can rent paddle boats, jet skis, banana boats there. We had a great time enjoying the crystal blue water, sun and sand! Enjoyed it very much! Can’t wait to go back!

We did the Explore Land and Sea excursion with the Kids. This was an really good excursion. We did the underwater ship ride which gave us some really good pictures. We went to Hell Grand Cayman and got some cool souvenirs and pictures there. They took us for some Rum cake and a little shopping and the best stop was the Turtle Farm and we were able to hold the turtles and take pictures. Great family excursion

Grand Caymen was very nice. We did some shopping right outside the port and then went to 7 mile beach at Royal Palms. It was $5pp for taxi there and $2pp for entrance to the beach. The beach was very nice with beautiful white sand. We snorkeled and there was plenty of fish to see. It was so humid when we were there but that wasnt a problem in the water.

We loved Grand Cayman. Didn’t do an excursion but spent the day shopping and enjoyed some lunch and a beer at a small restaurant overlooking the ocean. Would love to go back for a week.

I love this port. Clean, friendly, beautiful. We went to stingray city and 7 mile beach. We brought 4 kids ages 2-14. It was amazing! Everyone had a blast! I would go back!
