We went to the turtle center ourselves. we tried to walk but it was really hot, we ended up taking a public bus (van). They're very inexpensive (2.50 a person) and you can find the routes online. we took a bus there and then to the beach after, and then back to the port.

I was wondering the same thing. Was wondering if beach was walkable or there was public access where we port without an excursion.

my husband I rented a vehicle and went to Hell then we went snorkeling at the beach. that was a while back so can't remember all details on rental car but we walked across the street and went to the left after leaving dock I think the building was blue...the beach was directly behind a cemetery.
