Falmouth, Jamaica Port Reviews

First time in Jamaica. Only was in the port but had a great time. I want to go back.

Great shopping center right off the ship. Highly recommend.

Jamaica just does impress me.

Falmouth is nice enough… we didn’t do any excursions but simply walked around the dock shopping area. We left the port area and walked around the neighborhood… it’s apparent the area is not very affluent - it was very humbling to see the lives the locals have.

Loved the hospitality from Shanice our tour guide and Cliff our driver. We enjoyed the dune buggy ride with lunch.

The actual port is fine and has many tourist shops, not really any bars or restaurants though. Once you leave the port area you'll be in the town. We didn't like being 'hassled' into wanting a tour everywhere we walked, so we didn't spend very long there. I think the best option is to book a tour prior to arrival. There are some people who offer excursions inside the port area. The prices seemed fair.

We did the Good Hope Estate tour- pretty with a river in the jungle. The port area is fancy and well kept up.
