We did not do an excursion just did some shopping on the port. Beautiful port. The one thing we didnt like was everythng the vendors were selling was made in china. Nothing authentic.

The city itself is very poor and it looks very unsafe at night. However, during the limited time I spent off the pier (a brief bus ride) I never felt unsafe.

My husband and I have booked the island tour and rum tasting at Reggae Hill. Has anyone done this tour and can you tell me did you enjoy it and was it worth it?

The port in Falmouth was very clean well set up, easy to navigate. I loved that the Vendors were not outside their shops yelling for you to come in. The prices were high (even for port prices) and a vendor or two tried to over charge us for advertised prices. For Red Stripe beach..in their defense all lot more people showed up than expected because of cancelled tours but... wow. Hardly no alcohol available and no selections even at the beginning of the day. Then they ran out of everything, even red stripe beer and had to wait for a delivery. When the food opened up there was a wait of 30mins for food. In my opinion it is NOT worth a shore excursion ($29pp just for ride) to go to Red Stripe Beach.
