There's a beautiful Tiki bar right at the port when you exit the ship with a lazy river type pool. We wished we'd just stayed there. We did a beach excursion to a name I can't remember (the Rockstar one) and it was only OK. It was a private beach, but they didn't have enough sand, and the facilities were very basic and the staff were unhelpful. The area is also very poor, and it was pretty eye opening driving through Roatan to get to the beach club. Not really a vacation destination you would picture.

Favorite day of our teen/tween boys. Big French Key snorkeling and then "beach" time --- loved kayaking, snorkeling, swimming in the lagoon, jumping off the "diving" platform at French Key. Husband wished our snorkeling took us closer to the reef's edge (He had visited and snorkeled at Honduras MANY years ago) ... was VERY shallow where we were --- could literally stand up, potentially damaging the coral, and lots of new snorkelers kicking up sand, making it more difficult to see -- maybe divide groups/excursions into beginners and experienced??

Beautiful, but didn’t do excursion bc we wanted to take a local tour ($75 and pay no more than that!) sample the local food which was so good that the locals ate there!!

We did the highlights, rum and chocolate factory. We got a few highlights, the rum and chocolate factories were not factories instead they were stores. The van packed 12 people in it and very hot with no AC. I would not recommend this excursion, not what we paid for. The owner of the excursion does not pay his tour guides. The money they make is what is given by tips. Don't waste your money on this excursion.

I was unable to enjoy this port due to an injury, but my wife loved snuggling up with a sloth and having a monkey sit on her head. She wasn't prepared for the horse to walk into the water and drench her shoes, but the blow dryer in the room quickly fixed that later.

Wonderful spot, but WAY too many ships and people in port which left the wait times to get on buses, or boats or tours very long. No time to really enjoy the port.
