Caught taxi up to Playa Porto Mari, (Pig Beach) for $120 return. $3.00 entrance and $3.50 chairs. Showers, changing facilities available. Did some fantastic snorkelling, very easy for beginners too. Water so calm and huge amount of fish. Bar hires snorkelling gear for $10. Water shoes useful. Pigs appeared later on for a lazy in the sun.

Fantastic port! Our favourite! We enjoyed the free wifi and cheap beers right at the port bar in the evening. We took a 2 hour island tour in an open air coloured school bus through Ben Tours. The cost was $20 per person and included open bar and wifi. Well worth the money, the tour was fantastic! Curacao is defiantly worth a vacation on its own

This place is BEAUTIFUL!!!! We just walked around and went shopping, but the people are so friendly and the scenery doesn’t do the photos justice!!! We are going back next year and will probably book an excursion because we want to explore this beautiful place more!!!

By far my most favorite island & port!!! We took a taxi to Playa PortMari and it was the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

For reader enthusiasts, read the small novel The Cay. It’s based in Curaçao. My 6th graders are reading it now. Then they will watch it on YouTube. The movie cuts out much of the beginning of the book. Does not do it justice.

Spent the day with my love at the Santa Barbara Beach Resort. Free drinks and food all day(5 hours actually). Found a cigar shop back near port and got some Cuban cigars👌🏼
