A truly amazing port once we got onto our excursion, which was to the beautiful and interesting Tower Estate. Our local guide and the Tower Estate employees were fun and informative. Afterward, we visited a somewhat dilapidated nutmeg processing factory which felt like an unnecessary (and largely commercial) add-on.

I enjoyed seeing the island. I enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and I bought some spices

Read the details carefully - our Jeep Tour had the word, "strenuous" in the fine print. It isn't too big a deal to get in and out of the back of the truck. It is a big deal to hold on and ride through the small, narrow mountain roads. Quite bumpy! Fun - but the strenuous portion is the ride. The view around the island and the stop in the rain forest park are worth it.

We walked through the rainforest and ended up at the seven sisters waterfall. Very good tour.

Very crowded. We wanted to get a taxi to Magazine Beach for snorkeling but the taxi drivers said it was too far. Ended up at Grand Anse Beach with everyone else. It is pretty but busy. Umbrella and chairs were reasonably priced.

We did not have an excursion and decided to walk to the chocolate store. We found some of the locals to be rather pushy trying to get us to take a taxi or show us around town. One guy followed us for a bit trying to be our tour guide. If we were to go back I would probably book an excursion.
