Roseau, Dominica Port Reviews

We took a ships excursion to a waterfall and a beach--very relaxing and beautiful.

Dominica was the biggest surprise for me. This was one of the most naturally beautiful places I’ve ever been, with enormous scale, and lush rainforests. Dominica’s very little known. They don’t even have an international airport yet, but I have to imagine this will become a bucket list destination once their tourism industry gets off the ground. Dominica was so unbelievably beautiful.

Great island and best excursion.

We booked an excursion through Tripadvisor for a 4 hour tour to the Emerald Pool, a black sand beach and botanical garden.

This island’s port area was not yet developed for tourism. We did not feel comfortable exploring the shops because of the number of local men hanging out with nothing to do. We did Pepper’s Choice tour which was excellent.

Wacky Rollers excursion was fun and very pretty areas.

Booked with Extreme Dominica and rappelled and cliff jumped our way through Titou gorge. Absolutely the BEST tour we’ve ever taken. It was breathtaking, and sooooo fun. Can not recommend enough!!

Not much to do around here and walking can be a little scary. The streets and sidewalks are not well maintained.

We visited Jacko Falls which is quite picturesque. We walked down to the bottom of the falls and put our feet in the water - I regret not bringing my bathing suit as that would have been fun. We then went to the botanical gardens and the Morne Bruce Lookout
