Port was fine but the shore excursion was a ripoff. Avoid the Copacabana Beach Resort | Dominica. For $75 we basically got 2.5 hours of beach time. The umbrellas and lounge chairs were in poor condition. We waited for 30 min on the bus for one other guest and also had to corral into a small room for 15 min to be told about the “resort”. It was lacking. $35 would be a value this property should have charged.

Very little at the port but we did a nice whale and dolphin tour with a local and saw so many more than ever expected.

Really bad excursion! Champagne bubbles snorkeling tour, very difficult, very expensive, and you saw a few bubbles coming out of the rocks under water. Three people on out tour had the bags stolen!

Took a whale watching tour, the worst ever! Would never recommend Waitukubuli tour company. The island is beautiful.

I upgraded to a tour called Freshwater Lake & Hot Pools. I loved this because it was such a small group (9) and on our way up the mountain, our guide gave us so much great info regarding the history and culture of this little-talked-about island! Then I got to relax in a sulphur spa and apply the local mud - an experience like no other.

Look for the taxi shuttle that is only $2 into the city. Saves 1 mile of walking. We did the museum which was very interesting...good history. And then walked up to the botanical gardens to see the bus (no casualties) crushed in the David Hurricane in 1979 (?) and amazing stands of bamboo.

The best port! Really loved this very beautiful island. We did not do an excursion but took a local driver who drove us all around the main parts. Excellent!

Same as the other islands. With few exceptions, all the Islands pretty much carry the same things with regards to T-Shirts, dresses, bags, & jewelry. Sadly, much of this stuff is manufactured in Taiwan, India or China. Same stuff, Different Island name on it.
