We have only been there once. 2013. We walked the street and shopped the stores. Had some food and then just soaked in the ocean right close to the pier. It was a wonderful afternoon, had a few beer and enjoyed the local.

Went to Kimshaw beach. Nice area with chairs and umbrellas ($20). There's a Bar and Restaurant also local vendors in the parking area. My largest complaint is the women walking atound selling stuff. I know they have to make a living but when you stop and tell some one your giving them a sample of something then dont try and charge them afterwards. I was so angry at myself for letting them take advantage of me it kind of ruined the rest of ny day there. You don't have to buy a tour package to go here. There are taxis out front of the port and 2 of us got round trip bands for $28 bucks. Just will know better our next trip.

If you book excursions through 3rd party rather than RCCL make sure you adjust for local time zone or you could be left very disappointed. Beautiful beach & plenty of shops. Bamboo sheet are cheaper online, Fyi.

Visited Orient Beach as we stopped in St Maarten on the Harmony of the Seas. We had come 5 years ago and to be back and see the devastation was pretty heart breaking. Orient beach is starting to rebuild and we visited Bikini beach. 2 chairs and an umbrella cost 20$ drinks where available at their bar or on beach waiter but when we went to order food the kitchen had closed due to being out of ingredients.

Island was beautiful, even though they are still recovering. I totally recommend seeing the “Yoda Guy”. He was pleasant and museum was fabulous. Islanders were friendly and taxi from port to town was $7 round trip.
