St. Maarten, is also very beautiful. They have not made as much progress in rebuilding from hurricanes as St. Thomas. You do not see it at the port but you do see it in the countryside away from the port.

Guava berry Liquor!!! Love it! First stop...frozen guava berry beverage, then off to shop and take the boat ferry over to downtown. Suggest bringing or wearing your bathing suit, you will WANT to get in the water to cool off.

We did a non-RC excursion run by Bernard's Tours. It was fabulous! The island itself was lovely and they gave us an adequate amount of time to spend there.

Great place to visit, easy to get around. Taxis are well organised in a controlled rank and are reasonably priced. Went across to Maho Beach to watch the planes coming in :) there is a great bar if you don't fancy being sand blasted which serves good food too.

Loved this port. We shopped on our on and found the restaurant we had seen on a Youtube video, awesome service and food. Beach was beautiful, no time to put my feet in the water, and then for me the highlight was the Yoda Guy. Totally awesome visit.

St. Maarten was great, a good beach day for us. We walked from the port to the main road where all the shops were and just got some beach chairs there. At one point we walked around, a lot of the shops there and buildings still had a lot of damage, palm trees were bent over, some had glass still stuck in them. We really enjoyed our time there though.

We had a great time. There are multiple options, beaches galor. The water is clear, weather was great. There's something for everyone to do. Lots of shopping at the port.

If I was you I would go to maho beach you just have to try it once and you will love it. Even if you don’t like airplanes it is still a great experience and environment.
