Our 24 year old son wanted to shop....he came away with several 'treasures he was excited to have!! The downtown area was clean, and bathrooms were available for a price. The "Do Not Flush Toilet Paper" made me 'uneasy....but apparently it's an island thing.

Very sad for the island and the hit it took from hurricane Irma. Still recovering and also in a drought right now so not alot of greenery. Our cab driver Friday was awsome. Try the nude beach for some fun. Maho beach was fun watching the planes land.

We love this island, people are always friendly. Just wish Royal would open up on their excursions. Use to be a lot of fun excursions their. Either way we had a blast.

They are making a great recovery from Irma. Most shops and restaurants are open again. We toured to see how the interior was doing. Marigot is not as far along as Philipsburg. It’s a friendly island and the people are great. Only current negative is that the road into the port is still one lane and traffic is very, very heavy. If you plan to tour on your own or use a cab be very early returning to the ship. Our ship excursion returned 20 minutes after the ship was supposed to sail (not on board time) They waited for the excursion, they won’t be there if your private driver gets caught in traffic.
