We took the ferry to the beach and got a lounge chair and umbrella. Big drop off going into the water. There was alot of debry in the water after the hurricane. Us and another couple pulled out pieces of metal that were sharp and twisted. Parts of lounge chairs, metal pipes, pieces of shingles. Mostly pieces of torn up metal that could do major damage if stepped on.

Moored in St Maarten next to three ships in maintenance mode: Rhapsody of the Seas , Enchantment of the Seas and Carnival Paradise. All three showing a lot of rust. Pretty sad. The port was great. Masks required but not on the beach. But very empty compared to pre COVID. Just dozens of chairs, not hundreds.
