The hurricane damage is unreal to see. It was a very emotional trip from the port to Mullet beach. But Mullet beach was sooo much fun! The water was clear and the waves were huge and we had a ton of fun playing in them. No snorkling but I think that is due to the waves - they were stirring up to much sand. You can watch the planes fly over Maho beach from here. Would come back to St Maarten in a heart beat.

This was our 2nd time here. Water is beautiful and some good shopping. There is still visible damage from the hurricane but the beach was spotless. Water taxi is $7 roundtrip for all day and the beach is just steps off the water taxi pier. Pirates in Paradise is an Ohio State bar with good food at very reasonable prices. The island has some repairs to go to look the way I originally remember it but still thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We didn’t do a tour here. We went shopping and hung by the beach. It was a beautiful day! I highly recommend the beach across from the Hard Rock Cafe. We found tons of conch shells in the sand!

One of our fav ports and they're doing an amazing job post Irma. We took a cab ride to Maho beach to catch the planes landing then hung out at the beach across from the ship. Very enjoyable day!!

Our favorite. There are some great excursions, but if you want the beach, grab a van to Orient Beach ($7. each way per person). A fantastic beach with friendly & beautiful fish, the best restaurants in the world (you are in France after all), and a gorgeous island protecting the beach form the full effects of the Atlantic ocean.

Took the water taxi over to the shopping area $7pp round trip. Found a great taxi guy to take us to pinal island which is on the French side (still lots of damage from hurricane) he stopped at a store so we could pick up drinks Asked what time we wanted to get picked up and was there waiting for us. Did some shopping on front st before taking the water taxi back to ship. St Maarten is my favorite island.
