Go to the postal bank to get the Euros you'll need in Europe. Send a postcard too. You'll need to buy those elsewhere at a souvenir shop.

We were in Martinique on a Sunday and the downtown shops were closed. We did a walking tour on our own. We were not able to get a shore excursion for this destination. We enjoyed our own walking tour, were able to go into the cathedral, and do some shopping with vendors near the pier. We loved the island and would like to go back.

Worst port I’ve ever been to. The locals did not want tourists there. This port was so bad I’ve decided not to do cruises that stop here. I know I could just stay on the ship but this place was awful. No hospitality, it stank like marijuana and just an all around boring port.

Our second time in Martinique, and wasn’t impressed either time. People were very rude both times

I loved it because it was a blend of French culture and Caribbean vibe.

This was our first time here and took a tour with an outside company. It was a great tour of the North Side of the island!

I did not do an excursion, and I was expecting to find numerous Taxis to take us around the island and could not find any! Ended up at McDonald’s😬

We took the public bus from Port of France to Saint Pierre. Only cost 2 Euros each way so for 8 Euros we saw the entire coast.. They speak French and are not very friendly. No need to ever return. We took the bus to the last stop hoping to just turn around, but the bus driver kicked us off the bus. Did not speak English and did not try to help. A lady on the bus said the bus returning was up the street. It took about 15 minutes walk to the bus stop. The concept of forming a line to get on the bus is non existence.
