What a clean stop, our guide told us they pick up garbage daily. No trash was found. What a warm welcome at the pier by the local girl offering chocolate and smiles. Enjoyed the beauty by a guide drive with a bit of off roading.

The locals are very rude. If you don’t speak French, they want nothing to do with you. I would stay on the ship if I were to ever cruise there again.

We took a bus trip excursion to St Pierre, toured a cathedral, visited a museum, drove the mountain roads and saw beautiful springs and foliage. We went to the rum distillery and saw the black beaches on the way back to the port. The trip was too long; four hours on a bus was too much. The views were beautiful however since we visited on Sunday most businesses were closed. My least favorite stop from this itinerary.

Overall a beautiful island. We took an island tour on a bus and it was fun. Viewed the volcano, very cool to see in person. Beautiful island, would love to return someday.

We were in Martinique last May. In order to see the island we took a tour that went to the Balata Gardens. It was so pretty, but we wonder if it damaged by the hurricane. I looked it up online and didn't see mention of any damage. We love a good garden. I like to take pictures of flowers. I suggest that if you can spare the beach, go to the Gardens. There was no one hustling you there to buy stuff.

Walked from the ship to the water taxis which go to a beach. Found a lovely couple of guys with a speed boat that took us to the bat cave 2 beaches and snorkelling with turtles for 50 euros. 4 hours great fun.

Not really impressed. Tour was not what we expected. Went on St Pierre and Rum Distillery tour. Did not get much info and barely a 1/4 shot of rum to taste. Prices were too high

People were unfriendly towards American tourists, port town was doing tremendous amount of construction on streets around town making walking around difficult
