We took a private taxi to Carlisle Bay, the beach was nice, the water- not so nice, it was quite rough and we couldn't get in and relax, but I think this was due to Hurricane Irma having just passed by. The beach was long with beautiful white sand, nice beach for walking.

we were there on a Sunday so the whole town was closed so we walked along the seacoast which was pretty and shopped at the port where there were tons of specialty shops visit * the full day tour is recommended which we had already done on a prior cruise

We did the "Resort for a Day" at the Hilton, booked thru Shipmate.com. Beautiful beach, soft sand and very nice pool. Only problem was the rough surf. Make sure you hang on to your bathing suit!
