The beaches are beautiful... Payne's Bay. As a down side is the vendors coming and asking if you wish to purchase items. The port in barbados is not that impressive.

We only saw the capital, which was interesting. Our tablemates, who became our friends, took a trip across the island, and had a terrific time, told us that we had missed a golden opportunity to see a romantic island.

Visited forts and had some really cute native kids telling us all about the island in their own language (which we didn't understand) However they of course wanted our "tourist" money!

Beach at the Blue Monkey(which the cab drivers push) was very crowded with many annoying vendors. Keep walking until the crowd thins out.

We went deep sea fishing and that was great! The waterfront is beautiful and the waterfront cafe is excellent!
