We just walked the 15 or so minutes to Pirate Cove beach. Why take a cab when I can walk and see the island? We left first off the boat, so the sun wasn't horrible. The crabs on the beach were FAST though.

Spent the day at The Boatyard. Unfortunately it rained most of this day but the time we had their was enjoyable. I'd go back to The Boatyard again.

Enjoyed the beach but was definitely a case of all the vendors ensuring you then did something with their pal. (Eg taxi driver lined us up with his guy who ran the sun loungers and he lined us up with his boat trip friend). It’s fine though - we all have to earn a living. Enjoyed night out at Oistins Friday night party at the fish market. Daunting at first but we braved it and had a great time with the locals doing their impromptu ‘dance-offs’. Island not as pretty as the volcanic rainforest type ones.

Felt safe here. Did the excursion to Harrison Cave. Enjoyable to do once but since it was a short excursion it allowed us time to go to the beach. Browns beach. All of Carlisle Bay is beautiful.
