Sightseeing and tour of Harrison Cave through the ship's planned excursion. This was by far the best port

We enjoyed a great beach excursion in Barbados. We rented jet skis (not part of the excursion) and had an awesome time!

Did the island tour we booked in town and then went the beach. Should have taken the local bus to the botanical gardens for 2$ but was advised they’re not reliable time wise so we didn’t. Should have! Would’ve saved us $$ & we would’ve been able to feed our interest in the local floral and fauna.

I took a taxi to the Boatyard which cost me $5. It was $25 to enter the Boatyard which included a complimentary drink, access to beach chairs and dressing rooms and bathrooms. Your transportation back to the ship was also included in the $25. They do not allow you to participate in water activities such as jet skis because of insurance liability. Not sure where people were booking those activities. However, there was a dock with a rope for diving and a complimentary snorkel/turtle tour. The wait times were long for the tours. The pros were that the sand and beach were absolutely stunning. Barbados has the softest white sand. However, the beach was crowded and filled with smokers. Not relaxing at all.

Port was ok but ship a long way from anything so you need an excursion or a cab. We walked to the duty free and on to the fish market but that was all.....didn't seem to be much in the port itself.

We probably should've done a beach on our own excursion as it is very easy to catch a cab to a beach here. But the weather was a bit rainy and overcast so we decided to just go into town for a walkabout. It was fine but nothing too spectacular. The beaches get great reviews so again, that was our fault for not taking in a beach. Especially since the weather cleared up. It was still a nice port and easy to navigate. Bardados is expensive! A basic lunch cost us $70USD for 3 people.

Beautiful beaches and amazing caves! Optional shuttles from ship to gate. Friendly, informative locals and drivers. Not to be missed! Decent shopping.
