We did the Best of Bonaire and found it rather boring. Most of the island is cactus, shrubs, and salt flats. Shopping at the pier was okay but shops closed early. It really is a port for snorkeling or scuba, which I understand is amazing.

We did an island tour on a bus and our guide Margaret was very knowledgeable. Had we known snorkeling was highly rated in this country, that’s what we would’ve done (but all the more reason to come back!)

Absolutely love Bonaire. Didn't have time to walk around the port and shop. The stores close early and the bus tour excursion took up most the time. Next time we visit we won't be do an excursion.

We took an island tour of the south side of the island. It was about 3.5 hours!

Could have swam right there off the shore near the ship. Saw lots of fish in beautiful turquoise water. Small town. Walked more than a mile and never found the Terranna (?) museum that the shore excursion speaker talked about on the ship. Did stop for a very reasonably priced FRENCH beer.

Islans and beaches are beautiful. Did a private scooter rental, a fantastic way to see the island. My only warning is watch out, the roads aren't the best and the drivers in the cars aren't all willing to share the road. Drive defensively and slowly.

We did a snorkel catamaran with woodwind Bonaire on Klein Bonaire it was some of the best snorkeling we have ever done in the Caribbean.
