This was my favorite port..very beautiful..we just went to the taxi stand and got a tour of the South side of the island for $25..could have also done the North side for an additional $25…but we went to lunch at Karel’s instead…I had fresh caught tuna tataki ( delicious) Service was very good! Great view of the ship!

We took a water shuttle to Klein Bonaire and drift snorkeled for a few hours. Other than a few small jellyfish stings, it was really good.

This was our first time to Bonaire and we weren’t impressed at all. If we were fans of snorkeling it may have been a different experience, but it’s not a port we’d visit again. That said, we did find a little coffee / ice cream shop that we enjoyed very much. Also, we did the Tuk Tuk excursion that we bought from Carnival and it was not great at all. Very disappointing.

Had a great time exploring at this port. Also, it happened to be the island's labor day on May 1, so it was great to see them celebrating. When leaving the port at 10:00 pm, there were around 200 people with their phone flashlight on waving goodbye! It was really neat.
