Wouldn't waste my time even getting off the ship here. When we were there we went off on our own and was almost mugged. There was trash that lined both sides of the street and the fountain were went to see wasn't even operational. Then upon returning some guy with a pair of monkeys came over and placed them on my wife's shoulders without her consent. Grabbed my camera and took some pictures before I could get it back. Then had the nerve to tell me I owed him $40! Ah, no. I don't think so. But I thought we were going to have an altercation right there in the street. Won't go back there again even if it was the only land on earth.

We had a lokal to drive us around. We wanted to take the train around the Island, but NCL had bought the entre train without telling us in the news letter, we received in the evening, so we couldnt get onboard and se the Island by train. That is the only negative, we have to say. But we want to go ashore and book our own tours. .

In St. Kitts we took a private tour with Quincy. He was a really good tour guide. We have taken two previous tours with Beulah Mills (www.tourstkittsandnevis.com) without pre-booking. She was not working the day we were in St. Kitts. She is awesome. St. Kitts is a very poor island. Do NOT take a picture with the monkeys as they are stolen from the wild and do not appear to be well treated.

We went to Reggae beach the water wasn’t really clear but we had a great time. We got to stop at the lookout to see the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean.
