Basseterre, St. Kitts Port Reviews

First time at this port. We loved our snorkeling excursion but the island itself was sketchy. There were people with monkeys trying to put them on your shoulder as you walk by and they try to make you hold them so they can charge you money. We didn’t fall victim but some friends we made did and when they got back to the ship they looked at the pictures and all he took pictures of was the street after charging them $30! They had zero pictures. Also, we met someone who had a van driver quadruple the price of their ride after they returned to port and the police were called. The police sided with the taxi cab and the guy ended up spending $300 fofor a ride he was

We had a great time on St. Kitts! It’s a beautiful island and the people are super friendly! We did the plantation tour and beach excursion and it was just absolutely relaxing and enjoyable! Our tour guide was very informative!

St. Kitts was gorgeous...took a taxi to the Marriott...they had a nice beach and pool and good options for food and drink. Would definitely go back again.

Not a real exciting port but enjoyed the shopping

Bernie the cab driver takes good care of you. Go to Cockleshell beach and enjoy the drive over there.

We took a taxi for $7 one way to the beach. It took about 30 minutes to get there. Beautiful views on our way there. The only problem was that they told us there will be plenty of chairs and umbrellas, but unfortunately if you don’t arrive early, you won’t find a nice spot. Super crowded and slow service if you are planning on eating there. The beach was just OK. Rocky at some spots and lots of algas. We’ll probably try something else if we ever go back to the island.

Best Island... tons of shopping and excursions. We did ATVs which was amazing. People holding monkies on island would rush you so take a quick picture.
