Basseterre, St. Kitts Port Reviews

I visited this island 10 years a go and a lot has changed for the better. Beautiful Nevis is a must do for excursion. Lots of picturesque spots during the island tour and boat tour.

We took the train around the island. It was nice but if we go again, it'll be to the beach!

Don't miss the museum inside the Treasury building.

This island was stunning, and there was much more shopping close to the port area than there was in St. Thomas. I did the Mount Liamuiga volcano hike via Shore Excursions Group (Royal Caribbean also offers the same experience for a higher price). It was a very intensive hike up the summit, two hours both ways. Our guide was excellent and waited for those who fell behind. He even brought fresh bread and orange juice so we could eat and drink when we got to the top. Though the hike is hard it is very much worth it! Also you will generally get back at around 2-3pm so good amount of time left to shop and get ready if you have the early dinner time.

We toured the island on a bus, Best of St Kitt's. Our tour guide was very good. While the country is very poor, they have some fascinating history. Really enjoyed ourselves.

We took a tour of the island which was very enjoyable. Have not been to this paradise before and really took in it's beauty.

Another non ship tour, with Mr Thenford Grey himself. So knowledgeable about his beautiful island home. Highly recommend
